Cynthia Preston is an actor and producer and Co-founder of Cyndicate VR Productions Corp with both Canadian and American citizenship. She is known for her roles in Tom Clancy's Jack Ryan, Carrie, Showtime's Total Recall 2070, and Whale Music, which was the opening film at the Toronto International Film Festival and was nominated for Best Picture in Canada. She has played the lead role in 19 films and has been in roughly 242 episodes of television. In 2014 she branched out and added producing to her resume, then writing, directing, and editing. Among her many voice credits, Cynthia is the voice of Princess Zelda in The Legend of Zelda cartoons. Cynthia played Ophelia in Playhouse West's production of Hamlet in Los Angeles. The short film Mute, which Cynthia produced and stars in, is currently on the festival circuit and won Best Thriller at the Imagine This Women's Film Festival, won The Platinum Remi Award at Worldfest Houston International Film Festival, and was awarded Honorable Mention at both the Toronto International Women Film Festival and The Blue Ridge Film Festival.

In Mute, Cynthia was nominated for Best Performance at the Hollywood North Film Awards for her portrayal of Monette.

Cynthia is writing a feature film and a series, producing two VR projects, and has signed on to direct two short films.
